Position Summary:

The Office Coordinator/Administrator is responsible for performing various administrative tasks required to support the Corsicana Leadership Team and Corsicana Teammates in a safe and confidential manner. This position will also be the first person to welcome and greet visitors to the facility.

Responsibilities:

  • Greeting visitors internal and external in a professional and friendly manner.

  • Perform visitor orientation and safety training

  • Assisting Teammates and HR Manager by answering questions, and supporting needs, for HR related task/issues.

  • Assisting the Leadership Team in various tasks, including Purchasing, Receiving, cycle counting, etc..

  • Sorting and distributing mail, phone calls, external and internal inquires.

  • Coordinating, communicating, purchase and planning of PTR events.

  • Maintain Teammate evaluation dates, training requirements, and attendance using system generated (Kronos) .

  • Track and order needed office supplies and organization of the supply room/mail room, office area and break rooms.

  • Coordinate communication related topics through the Marlin and bulletin boards.

  • Provide backup coverage for Materials Control Manager in their absence

  • Track and report on plant safety team work hours metrics

  • Attend and document daily staff meetings

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma required

  • 3 + years of general office experience with familiarity as a HR Assistant/Generalist

  • Very strong writing and verbal skills

  • Comfortable providing training to groups of team members

  • Very proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

  • Ability to organize multiple task, meeting required deadlines

  • Personable attitude, professional appearance, excellent interpersonal and professional communication skills

  • Prior experience in an industrial manufacturing environment is desirable but not required

Working condition

  • Able to adjust from office to manufacturing environments

  • Able to plan, organize, and support monthly events for night shift team members

Physical requirements

  • Must be able to lift, stoop and bend in performing daily office services department duties with some packages weighing up to 50 lbs

  • Able to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time
