Bridgestone Americas is seeking a Sr. Analyst to join the Workforce Analytics team. This role is part of a growing transformation initiative to enhance our policies, processes, and systems. Reporting to the Workforce Analytics & Planning Lead, the role will help drive Bridgestone’s HR strategy by providing leadership with actionable intelligence about our workforce. This role will analyze data, interpret trends, visualize findings, and deliver insights to both the business and corresponding functions. As part of the transformation initiative, the team is also responsible for redesigning HR data and maintaining the analytics system. This role will be responsible with helping to deliver on this initiative and developing the overall data schema.
Develop Visualizations, Storyboards, & Insights:
Develop and deliver scorecards, dashboards, and models to all levels of leadership
Collaborate with Teammates to develop recommendations in alignment with overall strategy
Manage reporting request process, both scheduled and ad-hoc, and enhance where needed
Leverage workforce data to research and then test hypothesis to resolve business problems
Translate findings and effectively communicate insights to varying audience types
Design Metrics & Data Architecture:
Drive simplicity, efficiency, and effectiveness of all workforce data and corresponding systems
Assess current data architecture and help design future data schema
Research and analyze data to identify trends, uncover errors, and correct inconsistencies
Help design and build innovative analytics and reporting tools to support leadership
Systems Enhancement & Administration:
Responsible for operations of SaaS analytics system and all corresponding data connections
Manage minor enhancements, user communications, and troubleshooting issues
Build, test, and deploy solutions developed across multiple platforms
Help create strategy that enables better self-service, continued training, and wider adoption
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human & Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Statistics, Information Systems, or equivalent
1-3 years of experience in data systems, analytics, and/or reporting
Experience with Microsoft Access, Excel, or similar data processing system or application
Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service
Demonstrated learning agility with data, systems, processes, and technology
Strong business acumen with ability to approach problem solving from a fiscal perspective
Excellent communication, presentation, and consultation skills
High level of professional and personal integrity and ability to exercise good judgment
Track record of delivering innovative and creative solutions
Advanced degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics or related field
Consulting or professional services background a plus
Experience with SAP HR, Workday, or equivalent HR enterprise system
Experience with advanced analytical tools and programs
Experience with predictive modeling and analysis
