Directs, controls, and organizes the activities of subordinates to achieve the daily production, quality and safety objectives in a production department. Coordinates the department's activities in conjunction with other production and staff departments to ensure continuity with the plant activities operating plans and controls. Coordinates the investigation and analysis of problems, develops countermeasures, monitors departmental results, promotes housekeeping, and secures necessary assistance from support groups in developing and implementing improvement plans.
BS/BA degree in Business or other related field plus 8-10 years of manager/supervisory experience in manufacturing
Associates degree in Business or other related field plus 10-12 years of manager/supervisory experience in manufacturing
12-14 years of manager/supervisory experience in manufacturing
