Position Summary

The Shared Service Billing Analyst role is located in Nashville, TN and under the direction of the Shared Business Services (SBS) Billing Manager. This senior role is responsible for performing analytical work of high complexity and resolution of escalations resulting from the billing processes of multiple business units.


  • Analyze and deliver ad hoc reports to assist in billing resolution

  • Process non standard billing transactions of moderate complexity

  • Headcount - Billing Analyst

  • Contact internal and external customers to clarify or obtain additional information on moderately complex billing issues

  • Works with other departments, outside providers, internal and external customers to resolve issues, improve processes, and ensure understanding by all parties

  • Maintain delivery of service levels

  • Troubleshoots various inquiries with appropriate research and problem solving techniques by applying limited judgment and discretion

  • Participate in medium sized projects providing recommendations for continuous improvement

  • Use excellent verbal and written communication skills to build strong relationship with internal and external customers

  • Operates effectively as part of a team and in managing own work

  • Perform root cause analysis to reduce or eliminate billing issues

  • Review and resolve billing rejects of moderate complexity

  • Analyze and resolve escalation and medium complexity billing disputes

  • Backup support for standard customer support activities


​Bachelor’s degree preferred plus 1 year relevant work experience or 5 years relevant work experience

Must speak French fluently
