Position Summary

Partner with Merchandising and Marketing Directors, Category Managers and other key functional decision makers/influencers as well as senior management to provide in depth strategic price and promotion analysis and robust insights/analyses/guidance for strong value propositions in competitive Tire and Service Retail landscape. Transformational leader that can optimize processes/resources and challenge the organization.


  • Lead BSRO pricing function to create and execute competitive retail price strategies as well as relevant programming to drive profit and unit targets across all Tire and Service products and categories.

  • Develop robust repeatable process and approach to leveraging critical pricing tools developed in conjunction with external expertise partners.

  • Lead the BSRO Merchandising and Marketing organizations with relevant and timely insights into pricing and promotion activity in the marketplace.

  • Help to create broader understanding throughout the organization of cost/margin implications of pricing, promotion and merchandising strategies.

  • Provide thought leadership and guidance for advanced analytics for BSRO pricing and programming leveraging multiple data points and systems.

  • Lead BSRO promotions coordinator, pricing manager and cross functional teams to process map the pricing process and identify opportunities for improvement. Drive continuous improvement and innovation in the pricing area with passion for streamlining processes and leveraging existing technology to enable transactional excellence as foundation for enabling strategic price optimization.

  • Lead Merchandising efforts on promotion/offer coordination and measurement to drive Boss count and margin

  • Possess and model high drive for developing internal business partnerships.

  • Lead relationships with price shopping and price scraping companies to deliver resources necessary for thorough understanding of competitive pricing and promotion activity and analysis.


  • Ability to perform complex financial modeling using extensive various technical platforms

  • Business manager mindset with drive for continuous process improvement

  • Thorough understanding of pricing/cost/margin decisions on company profitability

  • Strong organizational agility to enhance cross-functional communication and collaboration

  • Exceptional communication skills at all levels of organization

  • Strong leadership abilities Passion for developing team member

  • 8-10 years of pricing experience in retail or manufacturing

  • Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred

  • Depth understanding of price elasticity logic and analysis
