Position Summary

Reporting to the Director BATO LA FP&A, this role will work with country FP&A teams to consolidate the full P&L for the Latin America region and will be the point of contact for all full P&L analysis for the region. Will coordinate the budgeting and forecasting cycles to ensure timely consolidation and submission to BSAM Corporate FP&A team. This includes preparation, consolidation, analysis and documentation of financial data used to summarize and measure status, evaluation of business plans, identification of variances, and prediction of results.

Responsibilities

​Responsible for all financial close activities, ensuring accuracy and keeping Management up to date through reporting.

Generate monthly, quarterly and annual FP&A reports and presentations for BATO LA to support the annual planning process, forecasts and IBP cycles.

Prepare and explain P&Ls and KPIs related to Bus/countries financials plans, proactively identifying risks and opportunities to delivering the plan objectives.

Prepare P&L variances, working capital, and SG&A analyses.

Develop KPIs and performance metrics to drive cost management improvements.

Generate ad hoc reports and analysis as needed from financial systems to answer "what if" questions.

Interact proactively with key internal clients including Corporate FP&A, Countries FP&A teams, and Sales & Marketing BU Directors to provide analytical support as needed

Qualifications

BS/BA or MS/MA in business-related or quantitative field (Finance, Engineering, Statistics, Economics or similar discipline) with an excellent academic record.Minimum of 3 years in Corporate Finance/IB/Consulting/Accounting or operational FP&A .P&L background / experience along with knowledge of financial systems and general accounting concepts. Prepare executive-grade reporting, summarizing findings and recommendations.Consistent track record of taking ownership and making things happen.

Comfortable working in a cross-functional, dynamic environment, managing multiple, sometimes competing priorities.Strong systems skills in Excel, SAP, and BI/BW.Thinks strategically, possesses strong analytical capability and has solid business acumen. Excellent communication and people skills: need to build relationships with many stakeholders, both inside and outside of the Finance organization. Global perspective: need/willingness to understand and appreciate the different and rich cultures of Latin America markets.

SQL skills: the ability to self-serve, investigate and get the data we require will make you much more effective in this role.
