Position Summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations is seeking a talented, multi-unit leader for our retail team. Top candidates will possess previous leadership experience in a multi-unit environment and be able to demonstrate key competencies such as strong business acumen, people management and development capabilities and passion, and strength in leading each store to meet or exceed business performance goals. Our Region Manager must ensure a safe environment for all teammates and lead others to make great experiences for our customer, the BOSS! Automotive industry experience is a plus. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the performance of multiple 10-12 Area Managers and approx. 100 stores within the region

  • Champion company initiatives to support the Vision 2020 Company strategy and to deliver a high-performance, customer-centric culture

  • Set performance goals tailored to each Area (teammates, Boss experience and retention and company financial targets)

  • Oversee and influence Area Manager (AM) decisions and business plans

  • Build talent pipelines for future Area and Region Managers by fostering development opportunities for current Store and Area Managers

  • Oversee B2B initiatives for the region

  • Ensure teammates adhere to company compliance goals (score card/dashboard)

  • Manage P&L for the Region in partnership with Region Finance Leader

  • Foster company-wide culture of safety to raise awareness and ultimately reduce teammate risk, claims and cost (shared with Division head)

  • Nurture customer-centric vision (Field /Operations) and communicate our promise to deliver best-in-class customer experience (Marketing)

  • Partner with other region and Store Support Center staff as needed to lead and manage needs of the region (Human Resources, Finance, Marketing, etc.)

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years Multi-Unit Management and P&L experience required; 4-7 years preferred

  • 3-5 years experience as a hiring manager recruiting, hiring and promoting teammates

  • BS/BA Degree Strongly preferred or equivalent combination of education and work experience

  • Proven success in leading and developing others

  • Automotive Industry experience preferred but not required

  • Resides in or willing to relocate near the region office

  • Must have a valid Drivers License

  • Must be willing to travel
